  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional, such as almonds or pecans
  • Honey or maple syrup for drizzling (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Peaches:
  • Wash the peaches and cut them in half. Remove the pits.
  • Place the peach halves, cut side up, in the prepared baking dish.
  • Make the Topping:
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Assemble the Peaches:
  • Spoon the butter-sugar mixture evenly over the cut side of each peach half.
  • If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top of the peaches.
  • Bake the Peaches:
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the topping is caramelized.

  • Remove the baked peaches from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
