- 1 cup dried figs chopped
- 1 cup almonds roughly chopped
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in chopped figs and almonds.
Add honey, warm water, and olive oil. Mix until a thick batter forms.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the loaf is golden brown and firm in the center.
