Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients and ensure that the turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato are ready for assembly.
  • Toast the Bread: Toast the three slices of bread to your preferred level of crispiness. Allow them to cool slightly before assembling the sandwich.
  • Spread Condiments: On one side of each slice of bread, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise. On another slice, spread Dijon mustard. These condiments will add a zesty flavor to the sandwich.
  • Layer the Turkey: Place one slice of toasted bread, mayo side up, on your work surface. Add one slice of turkey, followed by another slice of bread (mayo side up).
  • Add Bacon and Vegetables: Place the three slices of bacon on top of the second bread slice. Add the lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
  • Complete the Stack: Add the third slice of bread on top, mayo side down. Press down gently to secure the layers.
  • Secure with Toothpicks: Using toothpicks, secure the sandwich in quarters to prevent it from falling apart while cutting.
  • Slice and Serve: With a sharp knife, carefully slice the sandwich diagonally, creating two triangular halves. Serve immediately and enjoy the classic flavors!
