Prepare all ingredients: cook bacon, boil eggs, and chop vegetables.
Arrange chopped lettuce in a large bowl or platter.
Neatly layer rows of chicken, bacon, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, blue cheese, and red onion on top.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving, or serve on the side.
