  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking dish (8x8 inches) with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Stir the dry ingredients until well mixed.

Create Wet Mixture:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, nut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures:

  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients.
  • Stir until the oats and nuts are evenly coated.
  • Add Fruits and Chocolate (Optional):
  • Fold in the chopped dried fruits and chocolate chips if using.
  • Ensure an even distribution of these ingredients throughout the mixture.

Press Into Baking Dish:

  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Use a spatula or your hands to press the mixture firmly and create an even layer.

Bake:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.

Cool and Cut:

  • Allow the granola mixture to cool completely in the baking dish.
  • Once cooled, lift the parchment paper to easily remove the block of granola from the dish.
  • Place it on a cutting board and cut into bars of your desired size.

Store:
